The Chhattisgarh High Court Feb 10 rejected Sens plea seeking the suspension of sentence and bail during the pendency of his appeal.He was granted bail by the Supreme Court April 15 with the court observing there was no case of sedition against Sen and he was at best a Maoist sympathiser. Most of the clocked hours are spent in discussing issues that are more entertainment than relevant. Aajtak has the maximum reach and is for the masses but if that means you turn it into a real-life theatre then well have to stop calling them news channels! When that double whammy of Tsunami/earthquake hit Japan couple of guys from our group were staioned in Tokyo. Got to hear first hand from them how disciplined in the chaos Japan was. Most heartening part was that noone seemes surprised because that's what is expected from Japan. By contrast we in india have made it a habit to discredit anyone that talks about instilling discipline in public/private life. Very cogently written piece. these days my atetntion span is wobbly and still I clicked each and every one of the link in this article.
